On January 17, the RA National Assembly began the work of the regular sittings of the third session of the eighth convocation under the sounds of the RA anthem.

The RA NA Vice President Hakob Arshakyan informed that the Central Electoral Commission submitted the protocols No. 4 and 5 on giving the mandates of the deputies elected NA deputy and terminated the authorisations ahead of time to the next candidates. According to the protocols, the mandates are given to the next candidates of the electoral first part of the Civil Contract Faction Lilit Kirakosyan and Edgar Hakobyan. Pursuant to the Constitutional Law the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, Lilit Kirakosyan and Edgar Hakobyan were sworn in at the NA sitting.
